The internet is getting full of AI-generated content.
Lines between real and fake / AI-generated are blurring.
People use these tools to write emails, draft posts, and create presentations and images.
Research shows that since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, the use of certain words like “pivotal,” “intricate,” “realm,” and “showcasing” has increased exponentially.
People use different strategies with these tools:
Strategy 1] Use AI-generated content in its entirety.
Strategy 2] Make tweaks based on changes they want.
Strategy 3] Use AI only for research. Content/Style is their own.
The first one is easy to detect. The second one is also detectable with some effort. The third one requires the most effort and retains your originality.
Is there a problem?
I have no doubts that people will feel so bugged by a me-too type of content produced using Strategy 1 and 2 that the demand for original thinking and content will have revenge come back.
Note: I am sure, some people are already bugged seeing the same kind of language, emojis, advice and images.
People overly relying on these tools will not only become irrelevant but will find it extremely difficult to change later.
Remember, your style is unique and people love you for your originality. Don’t use cookie-cutter methods.
“Stay Original. Stay Unique. Stay Differentiated.”
And as Late Ratan Tata said, “Slow success builds character, fast success builds ego.” Don’t be in a rush to build your personal brand through fake content that doesn’t represent your authenticity.
